Course Description: This course will add value for petrotechnical professionals and support staff by providing a practical knowledge and a working understanding of the techniques and concepts used in the seismic interpretation process. This course provides a thorough introduction to all aspects of seismic data, from the fundamentals of the seismic method to mapping and the use of seismic attributes.

Instructor’s
Dr. 'Lanre Aboaba
Dr. ‘Lanre Aboaba received a B.Tech. in applied geophysics form the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, an M.S in geophysics from the university of Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. in geosciences from the University of Arkansas. He has worked with Degeconek and BP. His research interests include qualitative/quantitative seismic interpretation, reservoir characterization, and rock physics. He is a member of the SEG, AAPG, NABG and TGS
